About Rohan
Rohan grew up in Australia and completed his Master of Chiropractic at Macquarie University. His love of travel and sense of adventure have taken him across the globe, with clinical experience spanning Australia, the UK and India. With over eleven years of experience in practice, Rohan continues to enjoy working in the clinic as much as he did on his very first day. A collaborative approach Rohan believes that the best outcomes are achieved when patients are actively involved in their own care. He values open communication, taking the time to listen to each patient, understand their concerns and work collaboratively towards their individual health goals. His extensive clinical experience has reinforced his belief that a strong practitioner-patient partnership is fundamental to effective care, ensuring that treatment is guided by each patient’s needs, preferences and circumstances. Tailoring treatment to the individual Recognising that no two patients are the same, Rohan offers a variety of treatment options to suit individual needs and comfort levels. He is proficient in spinal manipulation and has undertaken extensive training in low-force techniques, including Activator (pictured) and Impulse instrument-assisted adjusting, for those who prefer a gentler approach. Having undertaken training with Dr Barbara Hungerford, a renowned Australian physiotherapist, Rohan has developed a particular interest in conditions affecting the lower back and pelvis. Guided by an evidence-based approach to care, his clinical experience includes managing back and neck pain, pelvic-related pain, cervicogenic headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction, muscle and ligament injuries, and postural syndromes. Sport and performance As an avid sports enthusiast, Rohan enjoys working with active individuals and those looking to maintain or improve their physical performance. Having played competitive cricket and basketball from a young age, he understands the importance of staying active and the role that physical health plays in maintaining an active lifestyle. Rohan has also completed additional training in dry needling, kinesiology taping and functional rehabilitation, incorporating these approaches into his practice where appropriate to support individual treatment goals. Outside the clinic, you’ll often find Rohan outdoors, whether walking, cycling or playing sports. He is also a keen foodie who enjoys discovering new places to eat and is always happy to hear a good food recommendation!
